Lyrics Analysis

Whilst analysing the lyrics to the song we have chosen, we were able to create ideas for the narrative and editing from the meaning of the lyrics. This helped us think of an idea that would closely relate to our song, improving the overall quality. We watched the original video to this song with the lyrics in mind, however the narrative in the original video looked at love and how a relationship blossoms between two young people. Although I liked the original video, I wanted to create something different. After looking closely at the lyrics we found a different meaning to the song and decided to explore people growing old and the life they have been through in our video. I think this will make our video original, and let us explore a new meaning to the song, hopefully getting people to listen to the song in a different way.
