I have learnt that the branding of artists is very important and must link directly to the type of music they produce and the target audience they aim to attract. Through photo shoots, interviews and social networking, artists must constantly strive to build a following. I have learnt from this task that the when branding my artist I must think about what will attract their audience and how colours and images will represent that artist in an appealing way. The way I brand an artist would depend on the genre of music they belong too, therefore I will research the artist genre to ensure all the creative decisions I make relate to the specific genre. This will ensure the artist has the whole package, making my work more professional.
